After nearly 30 years on West Rosemary Street, Carrburritos is finally home at Carr Mill Mall. Join us Wednesday, September 23 for the grand opening and official ribbon cutting as owner Rae Mosher and the Carrburritos crew cut the ribbon on their new digs. The storied space most recently home to Grata Diner and, before that, the longtime Elmo’s Diner.
The move brings the same beloved burritos and hospitality Carrboro has craved since 1997, now with a bigger kitchen and expanded dining room and bar. That extra room means more of what fans have been asking for — especially catering capacity for events, offices, and gatherings across the Triangle.
Come celebrate a Carrboro institution’s next chapter. The ribbon cutting is open to the public; stay tuned for the exact time and any opening-day specials. Welcome to the neighborhood, Carrburritos — we’re glad you’re here (and even gladder you brought the guac).
