Carr Mill by Candlelight is our signature tradition, transforming the historic mill into a breathtaking, warm sanctuary illuminated by the glow of soft lights. It’s a truly unique, one-night candlelight shopping experience in Carrboro, NC you won’t want to miss.
Here’s what you can look forward to:
- Giving Back to TABLE: This evening is dedicated to giving back. A portion of the proceeds from special activities and our "Give Back Cocktail" will be donated directly to TABLE, helping feed children in need in our community this holiday season.
- A Magical Ambiance: The entire Mall is transformed. Shopping by candlelight adds a historic charm and a quiet wonder that makes finding the perfect gift feel like a treasure hunt.
- Live Holiday Music: The air will be filled with the joyous sound of live holiday music. Gather with neighbors and enjoy classic holiday tunes throughout the evening.
- Community Raffle: Participate in our $2 Community Raffle! Purchase tickets at any Carr Mill shop or restaurant for a chance to win spectacular prizes, including a large gift basket from Ali Cat Toys, items from Love and Peace Boutique, Ceremony Salon, Thai Station, and more. (Must be present to win!)
- Pictures with Santa: Bring your cameras! Santa Claus will be available to greet children and families throughout the evening.
- Complimentary Treats: Warm up with complimentary cider and festive treats served throughout the evening.

Our talented tenants are hosting unique, hands-on activities to make your visit unforgettable. Please note that while general admission is free, some hands-on workshops and specials require a small fundraising donation to participate, with all proceeds directly benefiting TABLE to support local children in need.
