A New Rhythm for Thursday Evenings

Make Thursdays, from 6:00 to 9:00pm, your weekly appointment for cultural enjoyment. Beginning September 18th, Tandem’s Jazz Night will provide a refined yet relaxed atmosphere, perfect for unwinding, networking, or simply savoring an evening out.

The series will feature the soulful and dynamic performances of Scott Sawyer and Luciano Suarez. Their rich melodies and compelling rhythms promise to transform your evening. It’s an ideal setting to reconnect and indulge your passion for live music.

Introducing Chef Oscar

A Journey of passion and palate

Meet Chef Oscar, the latest talent to helm Tandem’s culinary team. Chef Oscar brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to the art of cuisine, beginning his career at the age of 20 and developing his skills across various roles within Tandem since 2019.

A dedicated professional and proud father, Oscar has found his home in Carrboro. His meticulous dedication to learning and his evident joy in crafting dishes that delight guests are the hallmarks of his work. We encourage you to experience his new menu selections.

One dish has been in serious demand, showcasing Chef Oscar’s roots and artistry, the Pork Belly and Scallops. This divine creation features a masterful balance of pistachio, brown butter, serrano, and cilantro, all finished with a bright plum vinaigrette. This dish is a perfect example of his commitment to bold flavors and fine technique.

The Give-Back Cocktail

This month, the spotlight is on more than just the menu. Tandem’s commitment to community shines through their Give-Back Cocktail—a creative riff on the classic Painkiller. This special drink is crafted in support of Brad, a beloved member of the Tandem team for the past 9 years. Enjoy a refreshing, expertly made cocktail and contribute to a wonderful cause at the same time.
